New Genesis Biography Released Covering "The Peter Gabriel Years"

A new unsanctioned new Genesis biography, Genesis: The Gabriel Era, is available perhaps not coincidentally coinciding with the upcoming release of Genesis' 1970-1975 box set (of which period Peter Gabriel was a member of the band, of course). The book, by author Bob Carruthers, is in stores now.

New Book Analyzing The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway to be Released

A new book by Dr. Kevin Holm-Hudson called Genesis and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is due for release in hardback on October 15, 2008 through Ashgate Publishing. The book reportedly analyzes the lyrical content of The Lamb and contrasts it with the vastly changing cultural, economic, and politically charged period of the early 1970s from which it was written. While this book is not sanctioned by Genesis, it should be a very interesting read! A paperback edition is expected later this year.
